About Turkey Tail
Turkey Tail is called Trametes versicolor or Coriolus versicolor in Latin. The mushroom resembles the fan-shaped feather tail of a turkey, hence the English name Turkey Tail.
The Turkey Tail mushroom not only has a wonderful appearance, but also has some special properties attributed to it. Centuries ago in Asia, old civilizations were already convinced of the great effects. For example, the Turkey Tail was widely used in traditional medicine in China and Japan. Centuries later, they are still great fans of this special medicinal mushroom. And this time their beliefs are also supported by science.
For extra effectiveness, we have enriched the capsules with Vitamin C and Zinc. Both Vitamin C and Zinc support the immune system and the body’s defenses.
Medicinal properties
Turkey Tail contains phenolic components such as flavonoids. What the Turkey Tail is mainly known for is the presence of polysaccharide-k (PSK) and polysaccharide peptides (PSP).
